What is a Techmatrix?

We spent some time looking at applications and manipulatives to help our students learn math. Now, let’s build a Techmatrix! Please note that the websites format has changed since our text was published.

Choose Math.

Choose middle school as the grade level.

Choose specific learning disability as the IDEA disability category.

The Techmatrix we created recommended many devices and applications including the following:

• Audio Graphing Calculator
• Tinker Plots
• Geometer’s Sketchpad

I changed my matrix to find early elementary reading tools and here are some of the results.
