Getting to Know You activities placed you in the role of student where you consider your own background, strengths, and challenges from the UDL perspective in three different situations including cooking, mountain climbing and gardening.
Among the case studies, I was most interested in Mrs. Jones who considered how student reading abilities would impact learning in social studies. What really helped me was that all stages of planning included comparisons between the traditional approach and the UDL approach.
